Level 2 cake

This is the only cake we made in my Level 2 classes. We spent the first 3 weeks making the flowers, and this week we made and assembled the cake. I have a bunch of leftover icing, so I need to find something else to make this weekend.

Kellen's new friend

We had out friends Michelle, Andy and baby Kenadie over for pizza last night. Kellen was very sweet with Kenadie, and here are a few pics of him trying to touch her. He also helped Andy burp her and rubbed her head when she was playing on the ground.

Here's a video of Lee feeding Kellen pudding (Lee hasn't figured out yet that everything he eats, he has to give to Kellen). Kellen is doing the sign for "more", which we think is pretty cute. At the end of the video I am trying to get Kellen to pretend talking on the phone. He holds his hand up to his ear, but I couldn't get him to do it!

Happy Earth Day!

Our recycling box was overflowing as usual, so I decided to take a picture to encourage those that don't recycle to start. I can't believe we used to throw that much stuff away every week! This doesn't even include glass, which we keep in the garage.

Now we only have 1 to 1 1/2 small kitchen bags of trash a week and could probably reduce that further.
Our garbage company just charges 3 dollars a week to pick up the recycling, and they even give you the container!

Easter!

Kellen had lots of fun seeing all of his family this weekend and going on an Easter egg hunt yesteryday.
We have quite a collection of photos: Kellen wearing my sunglass's at Lee's mom's yesterday, Lee and Kellen in their Easter best, Kellen with his Easter basket, talking on the his telephone at lunch with my family, and the carrot cake I made for Lee's dad's dinner tonight.

Easter Egg Hunt

Brian and Chris were so nice to invite everyone over for an Easter Egg Hunt. Kellen only picked up two eggs, he was much more interested in the bushes, wood chips, and playground equipment. We even had a suprise visit from the Easter Bunny!
