Kellen's Firetruck

Summer

Kellen was in swim lessons this summer, and we went to the splashground in Independence twice in one week! He loves it there.

Summer

A few random pics, as always. We went to an outdoor concert in July, and most of these pics are from that. Afterward, we went and got Kellen his first snowcone of the summer. And, I had to throw in a picture of Kellen reading the newspaper with Lee.

Random pics

Here are a few pics from this summer. Kellen eating fresh whipped cream for the first time, cuddling with Ginger, helping Daddy work, and Lee and Kellen on Father's Day.

Crown Center

The summer has been going by so fast! We haven't really done much this summer, I think because I have been busy with work the last few weeks. Today we went to Crown Center with my friend Jen, and one of her little boys. Vincent is a year old than Kellen, but they got along really well. We ate at Fritz's, the hamburger place that delivers your food on a train, and of course Kellen loved it. He was just looking around everywhere! We also went to the Clifford exhibit and the crayola store. Here are some pictures.

Baby Bunnies

I discovered a rabbit nursing babies in our yard a few weeks ago, but I couldn't find the babies after that. She had them in a burrow somewhere. When we got home from Branson last weekend, our neighbor showed us that they were under our pine tree. There ore 4 of them and they are so cute! Now they are going their own way, but one if living in our garden.

Lee grilled on Friday night, and put on his apron. Kellen wanted to put on his apron, too. Kellen's apron is one that I wore as a kid. My grandparents brought it back from Holland, and I remember wearing it at 7 or 8. I don't know how it fit me!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Branson with my family over Memorial Day Weekend. Kellen got to take his first boat ride on Lake Taneycomo and he really liked it. He wasn't scare at all! Kellen also enjoyed riding Scoops and the train at Branson Landing.
