Kellen turned 2!

I can't believe Kellen is 2 already! Time has gone by so fast. I have really been enjoying this age so far as he is talking a lot more. We started potty training him this last week and he is doing so good!

Some of these pictures are from the party, and the other two are from his actual birthday with us. We had leftover cake and ice cream and his big present was the cozy coupe. I think he will be excited when he can ride it outside.

Christmas

We had a nice Christmas and it was more fun this year with Kellen unwrapping presents like a pro. Santa came to Lee's office and I have included a pic of that. Kellen did great. We left cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve and Kellen licked one. Don't tell Santa!

Santa brought Kellen a train table with a huge drawer underneath it to store toys. Kellen likes sitting and laying in the drawer. I was also thankful we have 4 wheel drive so we could get to all of our Christmas celebrations.

Kellen has never been one to dance very much, or even like music, it seems. He always wants me to turn the radio off in the car. My mom got Kellen this Thomas book for Christmas, and he sometimes dances to the music. I think it is so cute!

So I loved this video last year and thought I would post it again. Kellen has grown so much since then. Last night we took him to Christmas in the Park at Longview Lake and he loved looking at all the lights. He said a new word, elf, and said it about 100 times. There were lots of elves in lights! He also is constantly asking for eggnog, but he doesn't really even drink it when I give it to him.

It's been forever...

I know it's been a long time since I have posted but I will try to do better. I went from working 1 day a week to 5 days a week plus some evenings/weekends, and I just haven't had time. This is the last week of that and then I should be down to 2-3 days a week until summer.

We had family pics taken about a month ago by my friend Beth, who I used to work with at the Freshman Center. We went to Unity Village and she did a great job!

Fall Pics

Last weekend we took Kellen to a pumpkin patch and to the zoo. While we were at the zoo, I fire truck was there that he got to climb in. Kellen loves fire trucks, so I was sure to get some pics.

Moonwalk

We went to Ashlin's birthday party last week and they had a moonwalk! I used to love those when I was a kid. Kellen was too little for it last y!ear, but loved it this year.
Also, Lee and Kellen play hide and seek all the time, so Kellen loves to hide. Here are some pics of him hiding in the cooler. He loved it when Lee rolled him around the driveway!
