Our new arrival!

Lila Katherine was born on March 25th, 10:30 am.  She weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long.   I was induced because she was 8 days overdue.  My labor was only 3 hours and 45 minutes but it was very hard and my epidural did not work because I got it too late.  Not a good thing on my part!  I much prefered my 25 hour labor with Kellen, even though I didn't request my epi until 18 hours in. 

But she is healthy and beautiful.  Here are some pictures we took at the hospital.

This will be my last post before we have another baby to put pictures of up here!  She should arrive Friday at the latest.

Kellen at preschool.

I brought my camera with me when I dropped Kellen off at preschool today.  He went on his first field trip, to the Martin City Melodrama to see a play.  He got a ride a school bus and he said he got fruit snacks on the bus!  That was the best part for him.  All the kids have to wear school shirts, and Kellen is wearing a small, but it is just huge on him!  When I dropped him off, he wanted me to dance while he made music.

Valentine's Party

I brought Kellen to preschool so he could join his class for their Valentine's Day party.  He usually does not attend on Monday's.  They decorated goodie bag and cookies and cupcakes.  Most of the other kids just glopped icing on their cookies, but Kellen was careful with his icing.  It cracked me up!

Kellen's new bike

Lee's dad brought over a suprise for Kellen this weekend - his first bike!  Kellen was very excited and sat on it the whole time it was being put together.  He still needs to practice his peddling and he loved crashing the front wheel into the snow.

Decorating cookies

I let Kellen to decorate Valentine's cookies with a pastry bag for the first time.  He had some fun squirting the icing on his giant heart cookies.

Snowman
